Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is expecting a tough and physical match against in-form Udinese in this afternoon’s Serie A clash.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the coach gave his thoughts on the kind of approach his team will need to take against an Udinese who have proven that they can get results against anyone in Serie A, and also spoke about the fitness of the team and his squad rotations.

Inter have just one more match before the international break, but it will be far from an easy one as they face a Bianconeri team who have won four from four in their most recent matches in the league.

The Nerazzurri will back their quality and their ability to get the right result and send-off before the break, but they will have to be committed and focused if they are to snap the Friulians’ winning streak, currently the longest in Serie A.

“I’m expecting a battle,” Inzaghi said, “Udinese are a physical team but also a technically good one and they’re in an excellent moment  of form.”

“We will have to play a top match,” he continued.

Inzaghi noted that “We as coaches are judged on the basis of results, we have to make choices constantly. We need to make use of everyone in the team at different times.”

“Each match I try to pick the right team to start,” he added. “I made my evaluations, we had a few more days to choose. Lukaku and Calhanoglu are still out, we hope they can return soon.”
