Udinese head coach Andrea Sottil feels that his Inter counterpart Simone Inzaghi has done a good job of shaping the Nerazzurri into his preferred style of play.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match with the Nerazzurri, as reported by L’Interista, Sottil gave the view that Inzaghi deserves credit for the job that he’s done since taking over at Inter last summer.
Inzaghi has not had it all his own way during his season and change as Inter coach, with slowdowns in form seeing the team miss out on the Serie A title narrowly last season, and then find themselves chasing this time around.
However, the coach has also made progress in the Champions League, won two cup competitions, and gotten the team playing a very effective as well as aesthetically appealing style of football, all while having limited resources at his disposal in the transfer market.
“It’s not easy to move to a club like Inter and impose your own ideas of football,” Sottil said of Inzaghi. “There may be some moments of decline, but this happens to all teams in the world. I really think he’s done a good job.”
