Inter defender Milan Skriniar can now claim something of an unfortunate statistic after his own goal which saw Udinese equalize in the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 loss at the Dacia Arena yesterday afternoon.

As football statistics account Opta pointed out in a tweet, now the Slovakian has scored four own goals in Serie A since his debut with the Nerazzurri, which no one else has done more in the competition and only former SPAL defender Francesco Vicari has equalled during the period.

They tweeted, “4 – Since 2017/18 (since his debut for Inter) no player has made more #SerieA own goals than Milan Skriniar (four, like Francesco Vicari). Unlucky.
