Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is very close to returning to full fitness following the thigh injury which kept him out of the team’s past few matches, and should be back in full training next week.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the 29-year-old will return to training along with the rest of his teammates next week ahead of the team’s Serie A clash with Roma after the break.

Lukaku has been out for a few weeks with a thigh strain which he suffered after the Nerazzurri’s Serie A loss to Lazio last month, but he is getting closer and closer to finally being 100% fit, after zero risks had been taken with his fitness.

The match against the Giallorossi at the start of next month has been the target for Lukaku’s return to the pitch for some time, and now he looks to be completely on track, and he can start preparing in training next week.
