Inter boss Simone Inzaghi is expected to use Samir Handanovic against AS Roma and then Andre Onana against Barcelona before choosing a favourite, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the full choice of which goalkeeper is the number one at Inter is still yet to be made.

It is close though, and the next two matches will prove to be deeply important auditions for both players. Samir Handanovic will be given the nod to face AS Roma in the next Serie A match after the international break and Andre Onana will continue between the sticks in the Champions League against Barcelona.

He will then need to choose a main starter as there has been confusion in the squad as to why they are still rotating. It is not customary for a team the size of Inter to not have a clear number one goalkeeper.
