Inter president Steven Zhang arrived at Pinetina on Thursday morning where he then had lunch with the Inter management and Inter coach Simone Inzaghi who is thought to be under pressure, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, the Chinese businessman only arrived back in the country from the United States of America in the last few hours but he headed straight to the training ground to see his colleagues.

He showed confidence in and support of Simone Inzaghi who has come in for plenty of criticism after the 3-1 defeat against Udinese at the Dacia Arena last weekend.

The lunch was also attended by Inter CEO Beppe Marotta, sporting director Piero Ausilio and his deputy, Dario Baccin. This was the first meeting between the hierarchy since the defeat against the Friulians and all focus is now turning to the AS Roma clash after the international break and then the Barcelona game.
