Inter want Simone Inzaghi to make some brave decisions with his team selection when the Nerazzurri face AS Roma after the international break, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Inter management will be reassuring Simone Inzaghi that his current position at the club is not under threat.

It is no secret though, that a loss against AS Roma would heap further pressure onto the Italian’s shoulders and that is why they have requested that he make big calls for the game at San Siro.

Romelu Lukaku returned to the training pitch on Wednesday with Inter and he could be put straight into the starting lineup. Marcelo Brozovic will be suspended for the match and many feel that this is when Kristjan Asllani should be trusted with that role.

Another big call would be to continue playing Francesco Acerbi in the centre of the back three rather than bringing Stefan de Vrij back into the team.
