Inter president Steven Zhang has given his full support to Simone Inzaghi whilst at Appiano Gentile but he is certainly expecting an improvement in results, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Inter president is still firmly convinced that Simone Inzaghi is the right man for the job and there will not be a knee-jerk reaction to the latest slump in form.

The mood at the club is very low after the 3-1 defeat against Udinese at the Dacia Arena and that is why there was a summit at Appiano Gentile between the Inter hierarchy and the coach to talk about where improvements can be made.

That is where Steven Zhang communicated his support for the coach but he is now expecting there to be an improvement as a result of this meeting and short break whilst the international matches take place.
