Inter treble hero Goran Pandev has announced that he is retiring from professional football and has thanked all of the fans that have ever supported him.

The Macedonian striker is now 39 years old and has ended his long and successful career in the game. He was at Inter between 2009 and 2012 which makes him one of the players that helped Inter win the treble in 2010.

He accompanied his Instagram post with a long message thanking those involved in his career and he highlighted the fans, saying: “I thank all my coaches and managers for the trust they have given me, for all that I have learned. I thank all my fans, from the first to the last.”
