Inter are close to having a sold-out crowd at San Siro for both the AS Roma clash in Serie A and the Champions League match against Barcelona, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Inter fans do not appear to be deterred by the recent poor form of the Nerazzurri as they are flocking to support the team in their next two big fixtures.

After the international break, Inter will welcome Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma side to the San Siro and then a few days later. Barcelona will be in town for a crucial Champions League group match which will be key to Inter’s chances of qualification from the group.

The trend is expected to continue for the game against Salernitana on October 16 for which almost 70,000 tickets at San Siro have already been sold with more to come.
