Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is only going to be back in Italy 48 hours before the Nerazzurri’s clash against AS Roma, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Argentine striker is going to have a very limited amount of time to get prepared for the match against the Giallorossi which is on Saturday, October 1.

He has been away with the national team where he scored the first goal in a 3-0 victory against Honduras earlier this week, continuing his superb form under Lionel Scaloni.

He is expected to play a small part against Jamaica which is on Wednesday at 14:00 Italian time. He will then make the journey to Italy and will be back in training on Thursday.

Despite this, there are not thought to be any doubts about whether he is going to be playing in the game against AS Roma.
