Both Milan Skriniar and Edin Dzeko are among a high number of players who won’t be at the World Cup and can be focused on by Simone Inzaghi, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Simone Inzaghi is going to have a lot of his key players at his disposal during the World Cup which can only be seen as a good thing.

Due to the fact that Italy didn’t qualify for the World Cup, Alessandro Bastoni, Francesco Acerbi, Federico Dimarco and Nicolo Barella will all be there when they otherwise would not have.

Samir Handanovic, Milan Skriniar, Kristjan Asllani and Edin Dzeko will also all be at training during the tournament.

Depending on if they are called up by Germany and Argentina respectively, Robin Gosens and Joaquin Correa could also be with those remaining in Italy. A warm weather training camp is in the works.
