Suning could decide to sell a key Inter player such as Lautaro Martinez or Alessandro Bastoniin January to raise money, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Chinese ownership is painfully aware that they need to make money if they are to pay back the Oaktree Capital Group loan which they are currently struggling with. They have until June 2024 to pay that back.

That is bad news for fans who are fearing the sale of big players just as they were in the summer. There is a chance that Suning will sell an expensive player in January after they failed to make the profits that they wanted to make in the summer transfer window.

If a sale does not take place in January, then one certainly needs to by June 30, 2023. Players like Lautaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar could be on the table.
