Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will be available for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Roma, whilst midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu could also realistically be back in action.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that Lukaku is fully on track to be fit for the match against the Giallorossi as he is close to recovering from a thigh strain, whilst Calhanoglu’s recovery from his own thigh problem is progressing well.
Lukaku missed out on six matches with the thigh strain that he picked up shortly after the Nerazzurri’s Serie A loss to Lazio, and has been targeting a return against Roma after the international break.
The 29-year-old has been using the break to put his injury behind him, and he will be fully fit to play against the Giallorossi.
Meanwhile, Calhanoglu’s availability for Saturday’s match is more touch and go, but the Turk should be fit within the next few days and being ready to play against the Giallorossi cannot be ruled out.
