Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is set to make his return to full training either tomorrow or Thursday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 28-year-old is all but recovered from his thigh strain and will be ready to rejoin the rest of the squad in training by Thursday, and that he should be fit to play in the team’s Serie A clash with Roma on Saturday.

Calhanoglu has spent the international break working to recover from a thigh strain which he picked up prior to the break, which caused the Turkish international to miss the team’s Serie A clash with Udinese before the break as well as the matches with his national team during the break.

It had been uncertain whether the 28-year-old would be fit for the Nerazzurri’s match against Roma, their first back from the break, but it now looks clear that he will have adequate time to prepare to be fit to face the Giallorossi.
