Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is currently back in Milan, but he will not undergo any further medical tests on his thigh injury with the Nerazzurri’s medical staff until the start of next week.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Croat will have to wait a few days before it can be made clear by further exams how serious the problem is and what the timeline for recovery is.

Initial indications regarding Brozovic’s condition are clear, with the 29-year-old having picked up a thigh flexor problem during the first half of the Croatian national team’s Nations League clash with Austria.

However, while initial tests have suggested that a few weeks will be needed for the midfielder to put the problem behind him fully, further tests will be required with Inter’s medical staff to give a clearer picture, but at the moment this would be premature.
