Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will undergo medical tests early next week which will shed further light on what his recovery timeline will be for the thigh injury that he picked up while on international duty with Croatia.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old will undergo the tests with the Nerazzurri medical staff to give a clearer indication of when he would be able to return to the pitch.

Brozovic will certainly miss a few matches for the Nerazzurri as he recovers from a thigh injury which forced him off the pitch during the first half of the Croatian national team’s Nations League clash with Austria on Sunday.

However, the team will be hoping to have the 29-year-old back as soon as is possible, and the tests scheduled for next week should give a sense of how many matches he will be out before he is back to fitness.
