Inter defender Federico Dimarco reached an important milestone in his career by scoring his first goal for the Italian senior national team, getting on the scoresheet for the second goal of their 2-0 win over Hungary on Monday.
The 24-year-old was overjoyed to have hit this milestone, a culmination of all his work breaking through with both Inter and with the Azzurri.
Dimarco posted on his Instagram account after the match to celebrate the goal and the victory of the team.
He captioned the post, “A goal I’ve dreamed of since childhood and a win that takes us to the finals!”
