The €100 million cash injection that is coming from the Suning family does not rule out the sale of a key Inter player by the end of June next year, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are still expected to be parting ways with a key player before June 30, 2023 as the sale is needed to keep the club in a healthy financial position.

The fact that a €100 million cash injection is coming from the Suning family as part of the Oaktree Capital Group loan does not mean that the squad will be unaffected by their financial situation.

A player in the mould of Milan Skriniar, Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni or Lautaro Martinez will need to be sold in this financial year so that the losses recorded by the club are not so great as to cause any further difficulties.
