Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is now fully fit ahead of the Nerazzurri’s clash with AS Roma on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia, via FCInternews, Hakan Calhanoglu trained fully with the rest of the Inter group on Thursday afternoon and he will therefore be with them at San Siro for the match against Jose Mourinho’s side on Saturday.

He had been an injury doubt and he had to spend the entire international break at Appiano Gentile trying to get fit and recovered for the game. He has managed that and could be set to take a starting place although the bench is still a possibility.

That is a major boost for Simone Inzaghi given Marcelo Brozovic is suspended and injured and the fitness of Henrikh Mkhitaryan is always a concern. Nicolo Barella will be starting in the midfield as it stands.
