Francesco Acerbi and Federico Dimarco are favourites to start for Inter in the match against AS Roma on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.
As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, the two Italian defenders who came in for a lot of praise during the international break are set to start for Inter in the match at San Siro on Saturday evening.
Them starting suggests that Stefan de Vrij will be dropped to the bench after his recent string of poor performances for the Nerazzurri. It also means that Federico Dimarco is successfully keeping Robin Gosens out of the team who was expected to start on the left wing in the majority of games this season.
Kristjan Asllani is set to start as was confirmed by Simone Inzaghi in his press conference and it remains to be seen if Hakan Calhanoglu will too.
