Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is carefully considering how much he will use Hakan Calhanoglu over the next to matches against AS Roma and Barcelona, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turkish midfielder has been given the all clear by the medical staff to start the match against AS Roma after recovering from his injury that he has been fighting against at Appiano Gentile during the international break.

It is felt that he will overtake Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the running for the left side of the midfield three but there are concerns that if he were to play for 90 minutes in that game, he would be ruled out entirely for the Barcelona match on Tuesday.

This means that there are likely to be some minutes available for Roberto Gagliardini over the next two matches as the coach seeks to rotate his midfielders.
