Inter striker Romelu Lukaku should be back to full fitness in time to face Sassuolo on October 8, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Inter should be able to count on the Belgian striker when they face the Neroverdi on October 8 but he will be out for the AS Roma match and the clash with Barcelona next Tuesday in the Champions League.

The player on loan from Chelsea had been training hard at Appiano Gentile all week to get fit for the match against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma side but it was to no avail as the game comes too soon.

He will also miss the Barcelona game but all of the focus for him now switches to the Sassuolo match at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia. There will be major disappointment if he is still not fit by then.
