Stefan de Vrij is set to start for Inter in this evening’s Serie A clash with Roma, whilst Hakan Calhanoglu should also join him in the starting eleven.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who include both of the pair in their predicted lineup for the match, in place of Francesco Acerbi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan respectively.

Acerbi had start both of Inter’s matches prior to the international break, against Viktoria Plzen and Udinese respectively, and had been tipped to potentially start against Roma as well, but now de Vrij looks to be the prime candidate.

Meanwhile, Mkhitaryan had been a contender to start against his former club the Giallorossi, but Calhanoglu is fully fit and should play from the start.

The Gazzetta’s complete predicted eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter  (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Asllani, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
