Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has reassured that the team continues to support coach Simone Inzaghi, whose future is not up for imminent threat.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri CEO has personally confirmed that the Nerazzurri are still not close to sacking their coach.

Inzaghi’s future at Inter has become a matter of some speculation based on the team’s poor form at the start of the season.

Yesterday’s 2-1 Serie A loss at the hands of Roma only deepened the crisis in form at the Nerazzurri, and with it ratcheted up the pressure on Inzaghi to turn things around or else face an uncertain future.

Whilst the patience with the coach may not be infinite, the club are not yet ready to give up on him.

Marotta still wants to give Inzaghi as much time as he needs and isn’t currently thinking about sacking him as an immediate option.
