Paulo Sousa Offered To Inter As Simone Inzaghi Replacement But Nerazzurri Aren’t Interested, Italian Media Report

Paulo Sosa has been offered to Inter as a possible replacement in the event that they are to sack Simone Inzaghi and be in need of a replacement, but the Nerazzurri aren’t interested.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Portuguese coach is among the candidates to have been proposed to the Nerazzurri in the past couple of days.

Inzaghi’s future looks less secure than it virtually ever has since joining last summer from Lazio.

The recent poor run of results to start the Nerazzurri’s season has meant that rumours have swirled that the 46-year-old could be sacked.

Of the possible candidates available, Sousa is a coach who has experience in Serie A, and the Portuguese tactician also favours playing with a back three as Inzaghi does.

However, the club have little intention of sacking Inzaghi, and Sousa would not be a likely candidate to succeed him in any event.
