Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has not suffered a tear to this thigh and will be available for the team’s Champions League group stage clash with Barcelona tomorrow.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the 25-year-old underwent medical tests this morning which confirmed that there has been no injury to his thigh after Saturday’s match against Roma.

Martinez felt some discomfort in his left thigh after the end of Saturday’s match against Roma.

The worry had been that the Argentine had suffered a strain or some muscular fatigue.

The problem never appeared to be serious enough to rule Martinez out for a lengthy period, but there were doubts over whether or not he would be able to start against Barcelona tomorrow.

However, after undergoing tests with the team’s medical staff, no tear or rupture has been found and he will be available to play tomorrow.
