Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is continuing to hope that he can finally get the best form out of Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach knows what the 27-year-old is capable of and continues to have faith that he can soon see the kind of displays that characterized the past couple seasons.

Skriniar will have been expected to prove why he is considered a top defender this season after the Nerazzurri decided to keep him rather than allow a sale to Paris Saint-Germain.

So far, in truth, the Slovakian has not looked like a player who is worth the kind of fuss that was generated by the transfer saga between himself and PSG.

However, Inzaghi believes that this mediocre form to start the campaign is only temporary from Skriniar.

The coach has not lost any of his faith in the former Sampdoria defender, and is looking to push him on so that he is at or close to his best very soon.
