Lautaro Martinez is set to start in attack for Inter in this evening’s Champions League clash with Barcelona, whilst Andre Onana will start in goal.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Martinez is fit enough to start the group stage match, and Onana will come in for Samir Handanovic.

Martinez had a scare with his fitness after the Nerazzurri’s Serie A match against Roma on Saturday as he felt discomfort in his thigh after the match.

However, medical tests showed that the problem was not a serious one and the Argentine has been training for this evening so should start alongside Joaquin Correa in attack.

In goal, captain Handanovic should drop out of the lineup with Onana set to get an opportunity as he did against Bayern Munich and Viktoria Plzen.

Meanwhile, in midfield Kristjan Asllani is set to drop out of the starting eleven, with Hakan Calhanoglu potentially being used as the deepest midfielder in a trio.
