Legendary former Inter President Massimo Moratti is happy that current Nerrazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi looks to have turned things around with the team.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the former Nerrazzurri President congratulated the coach on getting the team back on track, and also named Giacomo Raspadori as the current Napoli player he’d most like to see at Inter.

Inzaghi and Inter had come under a lot of pressure for the poor manner in which they started the current season.

However, yesterday evening’s Champions League win over joint La Liga leaders Barccelona went some way towards getting them past their bad moment.

The work is far from done, but getting a huge result against a team as formidable as the Blaugranas is a big step in the right direction.

Inzaghi has taken a lot of the pressure off of his shoulders with the win over the Blaugranas.

Moratti said that “They’ve done well to recover, and I have to congratulate the coach who did well and put a great team out on the pitch.”

And then when asked if there was a current Partenopei player who he’d like to see at Inter, Moratti named “Raspadori, because he’s an intelligent young man who speaks well, which is important.”
