Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has been left incredibly angry by the refereeing in their loss to Inter on Tuesday but the Spanish press are divided, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 1-0 defeat for Barcelona at San Siro on Tuesday in the Champions League has left the club in a panicked state.

Xavi has chosen to focus on the poor refereeing display on the night which saw Denzel Dumfries go unpunished for a clear handball in the box.

The Catalan press have focused on that aspect as well, whilst the rest of the Spanish media are looking elsewhere.

They have highlighted that there is an overreliance on Robert Lewandowski and that Xavi has said before that he won’t talk about referees.

Barcelona are concerned given the way they have put all of their financial future into this season.
