Federico Dimarco has made the left wing at Inter his own this season and he is setting an example for other players at the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, the Italian wingback has been the shining star at Inter this season and he is confirmed as the first choice in his position.
This is a big achievement considering Robin Gosens was expected to pick up the baton from Ivan Perisic and be the primary choice in that position, with Federico Dimarco as a backup.
It is argued that Federico Dimarco is the Italian soul of the team and is setting an example that should be followed by the likes of Alessandro Bastoni, Matteo Darmian and Nicolo Barella.
He has been praised not only for his play with Inter this season but also in the national team under Robert Mancini.
