Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is hopeful that he will have Romelu Lukaku available for Inter’s trip to Camp Nou to face Barcelona next week, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, the coach is very hopeful that he can finally have the Belgian striker back in the squad after he has missed at least three more matches than was previously expected through injury.

Many estimations had him down as returning for the match against AS Roma last weekend but shortly before, it emerged that he would not be fit for either that game or the match against Barcelona.

Now it seems that he will also miss Saturday’s trip to Sassuolo.

That then puts the focus on the Champions League match at Camp Nou next week in which it would be extremely important to have Romelu Lukaku available given the importance of the match.
