Inter are set to hold a meeting with Milan Skriniar’s agent to discuss a contract renewal after the match against Salernitana on October 16, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are turning their focus on Milan Skriniar’s contract following the win against Barcelona in the Champions League.

A meeting is set with the agent for the week after the Salernitana match but it is clear that the talks will not be straightforward.

The interest in the Slovakian from Paris Saint Germain means that they cannot entirely rely on the will of the player to stay at Inter.

The French side offered him a contract in the summer with a salary of €9.5 million which he said yes to.

It is known that he and his agent would not request that figure, but the interest from PSG is not gone and they could scupper the renewal talks by turning his head.
