Simone Inzaghi is set to tell his players to bring the same spirit they showed against Barcelona into their matches in Serie A, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Inter coach is set to drive home the concept of winning with spirit for the next matches in Serie A to get the season back on track.

The 1-0 win over Barcelona was huge for the Champions League campaign and they showed a willingness to fight that has been missing recently.

The Serie A campaign still needs to be salvaged after getting just 12 points from the first eight games of the season.

The fightback begins on Saturday against Sassuolo when the Nerazzurri travel to Emilia-Romagna to take on Alessio Dionisi’s side.

Both Joaquin Correa and Romelu Lukaku are absent for that match but the coach will still be confident of a result if spirit is shown.
