There are major differences in playing style between Andre Onana and Samir Handanovic but Simone Inzaghi is set to continue rotating them, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, there is a lot of diversity between the two Inter goalkeepers, as was exhibited by the Barcelona match in which Andre Onana was allowed to take the field.

The Cameroonian is much more likely to come off his line and compete for a high ball in the box, such as the winning goal for AS Roma in the recent Serie A defeat.

In that situation, Samir Handanovic remained on his line ready to try and save the header.

Against Barcelona, the disallowed goal came after Andre Onana tried to claim a cross that he couldn’t reach and left the goal wide open.

For these reasons, the coach will continue to alternate the two goalkeepers.
