Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is showing a lot of heart and fight for Inter but now he needs to start scoring again, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Argentinian striker has clearly been giving it his all in recent games to try and stop Inter’s poor run of form.

He is a player that others in the squad look up to for work rate and commitment, but that is not all he should be offering.

Lautaro Martinez is now without a goal in seven matches for Inter which is a worrying tally.

It is even more worrying considering Romelu Lukaku is out injured, so the goals need to come from somewhere else.

The effort levels have never dropped but a goal against Sassuolo would do the striker a world of good.

It would be even more valuable if he scored against Barcelona next week.
