Inter could make a move for Borussia Monchengladbach wingback Ramy Bensebaini as early as the January transfer window if Robin Gosens is sold then.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are tracking the 27-year-old for a free transfer next summer, but may not wait until then if Gosens leaves in January.

Gosens’s future at Inter is very much up in the air, and this has left the club considering their options on the left flank.

Bensebaini has been a target for the Nerazzurri for some time, and would be a natural candidate to replace Gosens like-for-like.

The Algerian’s current deal with Gladbach expires at the end of June 2023, and so if he does not sign an extension then Inter could capitalize on his contract situation and sign him without a transfer fee next summer.

However, there is also a real chance that Gosens could leave already in January, and if this were to happen then Inter wouldn’t wait around to move for Bensebaini.
