Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will be at most fit to make the bench in this weekend’s Serie A clash with Salernitana.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Belgian will not be fit enough to start the match on Sunday.
Lukaku is getting closer and closer to finally making a return to fitness.
There have been a number of delays to the 29-year-old’s anticipated return to the pitch as no chances have been taken with his fitness.
Lukaku will not be included in the squad to face Barcelona in the Champions League this evening.
However, there is a good chance that he will be part of the squad to face Salernitana over the weekend.
However, the Belgian’s inclusion to face the Granata would likely only see him sit on the bench from the start.
Lukaku could, however, make his long-awaited return as a substitute during the match.
