Inter are hoping to beat Juventus to the signing of Borussia Monchengladbach wingback Ramy Bensebaini on a free transfer next summer.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Nerazzurri are aiming to win the race for the Algerian’s signature with the Bianconeri also targeting him.

Bensebaini has the right profile to fill in on the left for Inter, particularly if Robin Gosens is to leave in the next couple transfer windows.

The fact that the 27-year-old would be available on a free transfer next summer if he doesn’t extend his contract makes him an even more attractive target.

However, Juventus are also looking at Bensebaini for this reason.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is aware that there could be a real race for the 27-year-old’s signature.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri are planning to act fast and lay the groundwork for a move for Bensebaini next summer well in advance.
