Referee Juan Luca Sacchi has been appointed to be in charge of Inter’s Serie A clash with Sassuolo this Sunday.

This is confirmed by an announcement by the Lega Serie A of the officiating crews for all of the fixtures for this matchday, as reported by FCInterNews.

Sacchi will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Luigi Rossi and Vittorio Di Giorigia.

Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Marco Piccinini.

In the VAR booth, Valerio Marini will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch officials are corrected.

The role of assistant to Marini as the video assistant will be filled by Alessandro Giallatini.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than on any officiating controversy.

The Nerazzurri are hoping to build on the momentum of their victory over Sassuolo in the league last Saturday.
