Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana has said that the Nerazzurri could have won the game against Barcelona on Wednesday night as they created a lot of chances, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking after the 3-3 draw to Inter TV, via FCInternews, the Cameroonian goalkeeper spoke ambitiously about how he feels the team could have taken all three points from Camp Nou.

A win would have meant that Inter assured qualification for the next round of the tournament but a draw means that they still need to beat Viktoria Plzen in the next match at San Siro.

Andre Onana is not settling for the 3-3 draw being a great result as he thinks that the Nerazzurri should have won the game had they taken their chances better.

“A really important point, it was important not to lose, to stay united and score points.

“We played our game, we deserved this point, we could have won because we created many chances and we could have scored a few more goals. But it’s an important point, won by a great team.”

He was then asked if Inter will keep fighting until the end when it comes to qualification from the group and Andre Onana said: “Of course we will, we will play until the end. This point is important, won all together.”
