Inter have scheduled a meeting with the agent of Milan Skriniar in order to make a proper contract offer for the Slovakian, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are planning to meet with the agent of Milan Skriniar in the next few days.

That is where they will discuss the terms of his new contract and start to lay some serious foundations for an official renewal before the 2022 World Cup begins.

Handing Milan Skriniar the captain’s armband in the absence of Samir Handanovic was their first move in showing the player that they are serious about his worth to the team.

His current deal is up in June 2023 and that is why getting him tied down to a long term deal is becoming a priority.

He would be put on wages similar to Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez.
