Inter still retain their interest in Salernitana wingback Pasquale Mazzocchi regardless of what happens with Robin Gosens, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Nerazzurri will be watching Pasquale Mazzocchi very closely at the San Siro on Sunday when the two teams are facing each other in the 12:30 local time kick-off.

He has been linked with Inter before but it was thought to be more in relation to the possible departure of Robin Gosens.

This report suggests that Inter want to sign Pasquale Mazzocchi regardless of what happens with the German wingback.

They are thinking more about the expiring contract of Matteo Darmian who may not be kept on at the club beyond this season.

An added consideration is that Raoul Bellanova is only on loan right now and the option to sign him permanently for €8 million is not mandatory and could be passed up on.
