Lautaro Martinez showed all the best parts of his game for Inter during the draw against Barcelona in the Champions League earlier this week, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the blueprint for what Lautaro Martinez should be doing for Inter was shown during the 3-3 draw against Barcelona.

The Argentine forward scored the second goal for the Nerazzurri which put them ahead and in a position of control at Camp Nou.

Beyond just how own goal though, the forward provided a superb assist for Robin Gosens to make it 3-2 late in the contest, a goal that almost sent Inter into the Round of 16 with two games to spare.

He also showed a certain level of hunger and personality that not many other forwards in European claim to bring to their team.

The task for Lautaro Martinez is to replicate that display consistently.
