The agent of Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries has praised the Dutchman’s mindset and professionalism.

Speaking to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in an interview published in today’s print edition, Dumfries’s agent Rafaela Pimenta talked about how the 26-year-old is constantly working hard to achieve new goals.

Dumfries arrived at Inter from PSV last summer, and while his talent was obvious, the sense was that he was not yet the finished article.

The Dutchman was not a fixture in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven early on, even though he showed really flashes of his quality.

Over the course of the first few months of last season, however, Dumfries worked hard in training to really get himself on the tactical wavelength of the team.

The Dutchman was rewarded with a much more prominent role in the Nerazzurri’s team, and he has continued to excel and show his quality.

Pimenta, who took over the 26-year-old’s representation after the passing of his former agent Mino Raiola, was full of praise.

She called Dumfries “An exemplary professional, he wants to break out, he always wants to play.”

“He plans out his goals and then achieves them,” she said.

“I really like him as a player and I admire his concrete and positive attitude.”
