Inter forwards Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa did not do much in attack in the team’s 2-0 Serie A win over Salernitana yesterday afternoon in the view of Italian media.

The pair’s performances were the one major sour note in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter were able to rely on a solid Lautaro Martinez display and also a well-taken goal from midfield from Nicolo Barella to see off Salernitana.

However, Dzeko was unable to be a terribly effective partner for Martinez for much of the match.

The Bosnian has proved decisive in some recent starts for the Nerazzurri, but against the Granata looked like the tiredness from those matches had taken its toll as he hardly got into the game.

The 36-year-old was replaced by Joaquin Correa for the last twenty minutes or so of the match.

However, it was a fairly unimpactful cameo appearance for the Argentine.

In both cases, Tuttosport gave them barely passable scores of 5.5/10 for their performances in the match.
