Inter striker Lautaro Martinez proved that he is right back in form with his performance against Salernitana yesterday afternoon.

This is the view across the player ratings for the match in Italian media, as highlighted by L’Interista, with the 25-year-old praised for following up his goal against Barcelona with another excellent display.

Martinez had been going through one of his worst goal droughts in an Inter shirt prior to Wednesday’s match against Barcelona.

Eight matches without a goal for Inter evaporated against the Blaugranas, however, as the Argentine capped off a stellar second half with a goal and an assist.

Just as important as snapping his goalless streak was keeping the momentum going, however.

That is exactly what Martinez did against Salernitana, looking bright for much of the match and scoring a crucial opener from range.

Tuttosport and TuttoMercatoWeb all gave Martinez a score of 7/10 for his performance.

Meanwhile, all of the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Corriere dello Sport, and L’Interista felt that the Argentine’s display was worthy of 7.5/10.
