More than 70,000 spectators are expected to be at the San Siro for Inter’s Champions League group stage clash with Viktoria Plzen on October 26.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the stadium is already close to being sold out for the match in which the Nerazzurri could potentially confirm a spot in the knockout rounds of the competition.
Inter did not quite manage to clinch qualification for the Champions League knockouts against Barcelona last weekend.
However, if the Nerazzurri take six points in their next group stage match against Plzen on Wednesday then they will do exactly that.
Understandably, anticipation if already high for the match which is set to take place on Wednesday, October 26.
Already, more than 70,000 tickets have been sold for the San Siro for the match.
Inter will be hoping that having the support of a raucous crowd behind them can be enough to help push them on to three points and the knockouts for the second season in a row.
