Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is set to make his return to full training either tomorrow or Thursday.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 29-year-old underwent medical tests today which confirmed that he should be able to return to training with the rest of the team between the next couple of days.

Lukaku was not in training with the squad today, as he was undergoing tests to clarify the timeline for his return.

The Belgian has been recovered for some time from the thigh strain that has kept him out of action since the end of September.

However, this has not meant that he has been fit enough to return to full training or get back on the pitch without risking reinjury.

Lukaku underwent more tests today with the team’s medical staff to determine whether or not he can get back to full training yet.

The tests were positive, and it looks as though the striker will train with the rest of the team ahead of their Serie A clash with Fiorentina next weekend.
